The Post Coital Pill (PCP), or Morning After Pill as it is commonly known, is an emergency contraceptive tablet that is effective for up to 72 hours after unprotected sexual intercourse. Although it can be successful up to 72 hours after sex, the quicker the pill is taken, the better the odds there are that pregnancy will be prevented.

Oral contraceptives are one of the more popular forms of regular pregnancy prevention methods available, and have been proven to be almost 100% successful. Approximately 3.5 million women in the UK use one of the 30 different types of contraceptive pill as their contraception method of choice.
High Cholesterol
